ISO45001 has been published!

Today marks the launch of ISO 45001, the world’s first globally recognised health & safety standard.

ISO 45001 will replace the existing British standard OHSAS 18001 and aligns with the revision of ISO 9001 from 2015, much in the same way as the Environmental Management Standard ISO 14001.

Further similarities include a focus on 'top leadership commitment' and 'risk based thinking' methodology.

All of this means it will be easier than ever to integrate Health & Safety into your existing Management Systems when achieving that all important certification.

If you do already have a certificate for OHSAS 18001, you will have three years to transition to ISO 45001 before your certificate becomes invalid.

However, acting now will put you ahead of the curve by demonstrating your commitment to Health & Safety to your customers/clients and the world at large.

Whether you want to transition to ISO 45001 from OHSAS 18001, or are taking your first steps to a new Health & Safety Management System; we are here to help.

Head over to our Contact Us page and let us guide you through implementing, integrating and of course achieving certification to ISO 45001.
